Doshas : Kapha-Vata Shamak – pacifies kapha, and vata, Pittavardhak – Increases pitta / bile
Actions : Dipan – promote appetite , Pachan – assist in digesting undigested food, but do not increase the appetite.
Anulomana – promote excretions, and favour discharge.
Bhedan – drastic purgative.
Shvas har – gives releif in asthma.
Hikkahar Gives releif in Hiccups.
Hridyottejak – Stimulates heart.
Mutrala – promote the secretion of urine.
Virechak – causes bowel.
